The Governance & Compliance Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing and embedding effective and efficient organisational approaches to ensure we meet our obligations as a Scottish public authority and to support delivery of our corporate objectives.

With the rest of the Governance and Compliance Team, you will work on areas including:

  • All aspects of information governance including records management, handling requests for information and supporting the data protection officer
  • Policy review and impact assessments
  • Risk and control monitoring and reporting
  • Continuous improvement review and action planning
  • Develop and deliver guidance and training materials on all of the above
  • Other activities such as maintaining the register of interests
