An established and growing provider of managed print and document solutions is looking to appoint a Field Service Engineer to support clients across Central London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a customer-focused business delivering industry-leading MFD technology, with a strong emphasis on service quality and long-term client relationships.
The Role
You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of MFDs and print equipment across your assigned region, ensuring a high standard of service delivery at all times.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installing, servicing and maintaining MFDs, printers and associated software
- Diagnosing and repairing faults both on-site and remotely
- Carrying out routine maintenance and preventative servicing
- Managing service calls efficiently in line with agreed SLAs
- Providing technical support and basic user training to customers
- Maintaining accurate service records and documentation
- Building strong client relationships and representing the business professionally
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will have experience working within the MFD / print industry and be confident operating in a customer-facing field role.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer within the MFD / print sector
- Strong working knowledge of Ricoh devices (essential)
- Experience with PaperCut or similar print management software (desirable, training can be provided)
- Excellent fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Good IT and networking knowledge (TCP/IP, scanning, print drivers)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- A full UK driving licence
