A growing and successful organisation within the industrial supply sector is looking for a driven Sales Executive to join its expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys meeting new people, developing business opportunities and playing a key role in a company's continued growth.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business while maintaining strong, long-term relationships with customers. You will research potential prospects, generate leads and engage with both new and existing clients through phone, email and face-to-face communication. Your ability to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions will be key to building trust and delivering a high standard of service.
As a central part of the sales team, you will manage the full sales process from initial contact through to quotation, proposal and closing the deal. You will also handle customer enquiries, respond to questions and ensure that any issues are resolved professionally and efficiently. Using CRM and sales software systems, you will maintain accurate customer records and monitor your pipeline while working toward achievable monthly sales targets.
This opportunity would suit someone who is confident, proactive and motivated by results. The ideal candidate will be comfortable communicating with a wide range of people and capable of presenting solutions clearly and professionally. Some previous sales experience is beneficial and individuals with the right attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn will be strongly considered. A background in higher education or college study may be advantageous but is not required.
The role offers a competitive salary based on individual skills and experience, as well as an uncapped bonus scheme on everything you bill. The successful candidate will be set realistic and achievable sales targets, providing an excellent opportunity to grow earnings as performance improves. Whilst a drivers license is not essential, there will be requirements to meet potential new customers/clients. Due to the location of the Essex based office, this role is commutable from Basildon, Chelmsford, Wickford, Rayleigh, South Woodham Ferrers, Maldon, Southend, Billericay and Great Baddow.
