We have a predominantly home based Digital Marketing Manager position available for a candidate living within the south of the UK. There will be approximately one/two days per month needed for meetings in London, as such it’s the strong preference candidates are located close enough for this not to be too inconvenient when required., We are seeking a results-driven and highly organised Digital Marketing Manager to manage and optimize the performance of our clients external digital marketing agency. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that the agency delivers the highest value for their marketing budget across key channels, including Paid Search (PPC), Paid Social, SEO and CRO, but note there is no focus on CRM directly. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing tactics, a keen eye for performance metrics, and the ability to effectively manage and hold agencies accountable for meeting goals and KPIs. Ideally you will have managed over budgets in excess of £1million and across all the channels specified., * Act as the primary point of contact for external digital marketing agencies, overseeing the execution of Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO and CRO campaigns.

Set clear objectives and expectations with the agencies, ensuring alignment with business goals and overall marketing strategy.

Hold the agency accountable for results, pushing for continuous improvement in campaign performance and ROI.

Conduct in-depth analysis of key metrics (e.g., CPC, CPA, CTR, ROAS) to ensure campaigns are on track and optimizing for maximum efficiency.

Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership, making data-driven recommendations to improve performance.

Manage digital marketing budgets and ensure efficient allocation across channels.

Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, sales, product) to ensure alignment of digital marketing strategies with broader business goals.

Continuously evaluate new opportunities and trends in digital marketing to inform future campaigns.

Commercial marketing where your role has been to drive the a large amount of low value (£10 – £1000) sales daily. Ideally but not essentially from financial, ecommerce or travel.

Proven experience (3+ years) in digital marketing, with a focus on managing paid search (PPC), paid social, and SEO campaigns.

Strong experience in agency management or working within an agency, including holding teams accountable for performance and ROI.

Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and performance optimization.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

A degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred.
