Before superintelligence, there must be super sensing.

Zero Point Motion is building a fundamentally new inertial sensing platform.

Despite the importance of inertial and semiconductor sensors to autonomy, robotics, and navigation, the field remains conservative, fragmented, and poorly explained.

The Technical Evangelist & Market Strategist owns how Zero Point Motion is understood - technically, commercially, and culturally.

Not by selling harder, but by defining the narrative with enough clarity, credibility, and technical authority that the market follows.

The Role

As a Technical Evangelist & Market Strategist, you are the public technical brain and voice of Zero Point Motion. You are not a salesperson. You are not a conventional marketer.

You own how our technology, category, and competitive position are understood by customers, partners, and the wider ecosystem.

Your output is not leads - it is market clarity, narrative advantage, and technical authority.

  • What You’ll Do
  • Own market and competitive understanding

• Maintain a deep, current understanding of

  • inertial sensing and navigation markets
  • autonomy and robotics stacks
  • adjacent sensing and semiconductor platforms

• Track competitors rigorously

  • how their systems actually work
  • who they sell to and why
  • how they position themselves
  • Identify where the market is confused, underserved, or misled.
  • Shape and own the technical narrative and taste

• Define and evolve Zero Point Motion’s technical story

  • where existing inertial sensing falls short
  • why current MEMS approaches have plateaued
  • why a new semiconductor platform changes what’s possible

• Produce high-quality technical content, including

  • white papers
  • technical explainers
  • application notes and specifications
  • grant and partner-facing technical material
  • Translate deep engineering work into clear positioning, accurate explanations, compelling visuals
  • Maintain exceptionally high standards for accuracy, clarity, and intellectual honesty.
  • Represent Zero Point Motion in technical and market-facing settings
  • Act as a technical detective to ask sharp questions, uncover real customer needs, separate signal from noise.
  • Required Background

You bring

• A deep technical background in one or more of

  • inertial sensing
  • navigation
  • robotics
  • GNSS
  • motion and dynamics

• Strong understanding of foundational technologies such as

  • semiconductors and transistors
  • sensors and signal processing
  • lasers and photonics (conceptual level)
  • Demonstrated examples of high-quality technical writing that is externally visible.
  • Confidence speaking publicly about complex technical topics.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar technical domains quickly.
  • Strong personal organisation and pattern recognition across people and conversations.
  • Comfort using CRMs and market-tracking tools as instruments of insight, not bureaucracy.
  • Who This Role Is For

This role is for someone who

  • Is deeply technical and deeply curious about markets.
  • Believes technology wins when it is explained properly.
  • Enjoys analysing competitors and exposing narrative weaknesses.
  • Is articulate, thoughtful, and comfortable in conversation.
  • Wants to help define - not just participate in - a new category.

This role requires intrinsic motivation, judgment, and conviction.

What This Role Is Not

This is not a quota-carrying sales role, a generic marketing job, a copywriting-only role.

If you are uncomfortable with technical depth, ambiguity, or strategic responsibility, this is not a fit.

What Success Looks Like

After 6–12 months

  • Zero Point Motion is clearly positioned as a new sensing category, not “another MEMS company”.
  • The competitive landscape is understood internally with clarity and honesty.
  • Our technical content is trusted, referenced, and clearly authoritative.
  • Events and external engagements feel coherent, confident, and intentional.
  • Market and customer insights are captured, synthesised, and fed back into strategy.
  • Engineers, partners, and customers say: “They understand this space better than anyone and explain it better too.”
