The Role:

Contract Type: Initial contract with potential to convert to permanent (subject to performance and business needs). We’re hiring a Technical Writer to create and maintain high-quality documentation for our End User Computing (EUC) services and Zero Trust environment. You’ll work with engineering, security, and identity teams to produce clear internal documentation in Confluence, and publish curated, customer-facing content to SharePoint Online. Please note: You will need to have current Security Clearance (SC) for this role that is transferable to Zero Plus.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Writing and maintaining service documentation, SOPs/runbooks, and knowledge base articles for our EUC team and supporting security/identity services.
  • Producing customer-ready documentation and ensuring appropriate separation/redaction between internal vs external content.
  • Documenting key processes: onboarding/off-boarding, device lifecycle, access/authentication flows, troubleshooting and escalation paths.
  • Establishing and applying documentation standards (templates, structure, versioning, review cadence).
  • Collaborating closely with SMEs and Test Service Managers to capture accurate content; keep documents current as services change.

Some of the technologies you can expect to write about include:

  • Zscaler (Zero Trust access patterns and support guidance)
  • Okta (primary IdP) federated with Microsoft Entra (SSO/MFA, Conditional Access-aligned flows)
  • Microsoft 365 collaboration services with E5 security capabilities
  • Endpoints (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android)

You do not necessarily need to have technical experience in these fields, however, the ability to grasp technological ideas and concepts is vital.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven Technical Writing experience in IT (EUC, identity & access, security, networking, or cloud services).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical topics for different audiences (support teams, admins, customers/end users).
  • Hands-on experience with Confluence and publishing content to SharePoint Online (or equivalent).
  • Comfortable creating diagrams (Lucidchart/Visio/draw.io) and working with SMEs in fast-moving technical teams.

It's not essential, but it would be great if you also had:

  • Familiarity with Zscaler, Okta, Microsoft Entra, Workspace ONE, and Microsoft 365 security/E5 concepts.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in operating in complex technical environments and can translate that complexity into documentation for our end users. We look forward to receiving your application!
