Who you are

You’re an organised, proactive marketing generalist who loves getting things done. Execution energises you. You enjoy jumping between tasks — posting social content, organising event logistics, managing a community thread, repurposing content — whatever keeps momentum going.

You’re someone who:

  • thrives on variety in your work
  • enjoys coordinating and communicating with people
  • is comfortable owning tasks end-to-end and making sure nothing falls through the cracks
  • is excited to learn and grow in a fast-paced marketing team

You don’t need to be a strategist — we’ll provide direction — but you love taking a plan and making it happen.

What you’ll do

You’ll play a key role in keeping our marketing engine running — supporting execution across content, social, events, community and campaigns.

Content & Website

  • You help scale our content engine — increasing the reach, reuse and performance of everything we publish.
  • Repurpose and adapt content across channels, including social and video.
  • Create and optimise original content — including blog posts, emails, campaign copy, and short-form video.
  • Manage website updates, including publishing landing pages and blog content, implementing SEO improvement, and refreshing existing content.

Social & Outreach

  • You help keep zeroheight visible, relevant, and influential within the design systems community.
  • Plan and manage the organic social calendar across LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Create and publish channel-native content, experimenting with new formats to increase engagement and reach.
  • Manage zeroheight’s profiles and community engagement across all social channels and review platforms (including G2 and Capterra).
  • Support distribution and outreach efforts, including coordinating with influencers and PR partners.
  • Research and surface relevant speaking, sponsorship, and partnership opportunities.

Events & Community

  • You help us build one of the most engaged communities in design systems.
  • Coordinate logistics for webinars, meetups, zeroheight events (including Converge and the Design System Awards) and third-party sponsorships.
  • Help manage and engage the Slack community (~3k members).
  • Support promotion of key community moments and events.

Campaign & Project Support

  • You remove bottlenecks and help the team ship faster.
  • Coordinate campaigns and marketing projects to keep workstreams on track.
  • Produce campaign and event assets in Figma using templates.
  • Keep our internal marketing hub organised and up to date.

Skills we believe you’ll need

  • ~1–3 years experience in marketing — agency or in-house.
  • Experience executing campaigns across events, content, social, or community.
  • Experience running social channels for a brand, including content repurposing, social post creation, and reporting.
  • Copywriting skills — able to write compelling copy across social, email, website, and blog contexts.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills — able to keep campaigns and tasks on track, manage multiple priorities, and unblock people when needed.
  • Creative flair and an eye for good design — you don’t need to design yourself, but can brief assets effectively.
  • Experience publishing on WordPress or other CMS platforms.
  • Experience with HubSpot or other marketing automation/email platforms.

Bonus if you also have:

  • Basic video editing skills for content repurposing.
  • Experience creating assets from templates in design tools like Figma, Canva, or Adobe Suite.
  • Experience using AI tools to streamline workflows.
  • Experience with SEO platforms such as Semrush, Ahrefs, etc.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or tech.

Training will be provided to help you succeed and grow in the role.
