Requirements

  • You understand and speak the language of teachers (ex-Teach First is a big plus).
  • When a school leader asks you to talk through our approach to retrieval practice and the research behind it, you don't flinch.
  • You've got a proven track record in an edtech or commercial role, and the commercial instincts have bedded in.
  • We'll also back an exceptional educator who's hungry, ambitious and learns fast.
  • You sell on trust.
  • You know every school is different but their pains are remarkably similar, and you meet educators with real empathy for the sector.
  • You're built for speed and ambiguity.
  • Start-ups are intense and scrappy, and you find energy in that pace rather than being worn down by it.
  • You're excited about AI and what it can do for education. You don't need to be technical, but you need to care.

What the job involves

  • Become the face of Zero Gravity in schools, leading with real knowledge of how AI improves student outcomes.
  • Bring structured feedback from teachers and school leaders into product prioritisation to ensure maximum efficacy.
  • Run three to five quality new business meetings a day with Heads of Department and SLT.
  • Manage fast, full-cycle deals: discovery call, demo, follow-up, close.
  • Graduate from single schools to Multi-Academy Trusts and local authorities, where deals get bigger and multi-threaded, and one relationship can unlock partnerships with 30 schools at once.
  • Work a steady cadence of inbound leads while helping us crack outbound: who our school ICP really is, where they live, and which channels actually reach them.
  • Help build an automated GTM engine (standardised follow-ups, one-pagers, decks) so the repeatable parts of the job run themselves and you spend your time building your network of school partners.
  • Partner with our Account Managers to hand schools over cleanly post-signature, so every school launches well and they’re able to improve outcomes.
  • Feed what you're hearing on calls back into the product and marketing teams so our tech and messaging gets sharper every week.
