About the Role

We are building out our products, services and experiences that will transform Zero Deposit from individual products and journeys into a single, scalable, connected experience across customers, partners and internal teams. The Product Manager will play a key role in coordinating and delivering the product roadmap, working closely with engineering and stakeholders to turn ideas and proposals into execution. This role exists to help deliver the roadmap needed to execute this vision, including:

  • Coordinate the product roadmap, ensuring stakeholder input is captured and communicated clearly.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure all projects, features and objectives are clearly defined and understood before delivery.
  • Facilitate sprint ceremonies and own the product management tooling (Shortcut) to support effective delivery.
  • Support roadmap planning by managing capacity and resourcing visibility, enabling stakeholders to make informed investment decisions based on cost and benefit.

About You

Key Responsibilities

Product Roadmap Ownership
  • Coordinate the short and long-term product roadmap, ensuring it aligns to company and product objectives.
  • Facilitate prioritisation of roadmap items, ensuring stakeholders understand the impact of decisions on delivery timelines, customer outcomes and technology stability.
Product Development & Delivery
  • Support shaping product opportunities before development by contributing to discovery, challenging assumptions and helping define clear problem statements.
  • Translate product ideas into clear, structured work for engineering, including writing requirements and managing the backlog.
  • Work closely with engineering teams through sprint planning, backlog refinement and agile delivery processes.
  • Track delivery progress, proactively managing risks and keeping stakeholders informed on timelines and outcomes.
  • Drive collaboration between teams by aligning requirements, facilitating planning and update sessions, and ensuring clear communication throughout delivery.
  • Support governance of product spend, ensuring work remains aligned to budget and priorities.
Cross Functional Collaboration
  • Work across product, engineering, operations, compliance, marketing and partnerships to gather requirements and align delivery.
  • Co-ordinate changes/releases across the business to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
  • Communicate plans, priorities and decisions clearly so teams understand what is being built and why.
Product Launch & Enablement
  • Coordinate product launches, ensuring all teams are prepared to support new features and changes.
  • Provide internal training and guidance so teams understand the product and how to support customers effectively.

What we are looking for

Essential:
  • Proven experience in a Product Manager or Delivery roles within an Insurtech or tech led business.
  • Strong experience owning and delivering product roadmaps end to end.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams in agile environments.
  • Experience with implementing and using AI tools to increase efficiency.
  • Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management across multiple business functions.
Desirable:
  • Experience in insurance or a regulated environment.
  • Experience building or scaling platform-based or multi-product systems.
  • Strong technical literacy, with the ability to engage in both business and technical discussions and act as a bridge between the two.
  • Experience working on insurance products, whether through digital product delivery, operational platforms or insurance product management.
