This is a unique opportunity to lead marketing at a profitable, founder-led B2B2B software company known for its advanced developer tool technology. The business serves highly technical users across a number of highly regulated industries. Over the past decade, the company has grown without external funding. With a suite of developer-centric tools used globally across government and enterprise sectors, it is now entering an ambitious scale-up phase: launching new products, expanding into the US, and evolving its go-to-market engine.

The Role

The VP of Marketing will build and scale a modern, full-stack marketing function from the ground up. You’ll take ownership of marketing strategy and execution - from positioning and demand generation to developer engagement and outbound GTM. This is a strategic, high-impact role with the opportunity to shape how a world-class product reaches its next phase of growth.

Your Mandate

  • Architect and lead a full-funnel marketing strategy across inbound, outbound, ABM, and partnerships
  • Evolve the brand to resonate with technical decision-makers and developer teams
  • Scale a lean, high-impact team to support global expansion
  • Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Executive leadership to support revenue growth and product launches

Key Responsibilities

  • Own demand generation and pipeline growth beyond inbound channels
  • Build and optimise a product marketing function across multiple products and personas
  • Lead positioning and messaging for new product launches
  • Design and implement account-based and outbound marketing programs
  • Develop a scalable content engine targeting technical and executive audiences
  • Establish marketing KPIs and a performance reporting framework
  • Represent marketing at the leadership table, contributing to company-wide strategy

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience marketing technical software (APIs, SDKs, developer tools, infrastructure products)
  • Proven success engaging technical personas: developers, architects, engineering leaders
  • Track record of scaling B2B SaaS marketing in £10M - £50M ARR environments
  • Full-stack marketing expertise: product, demand gen, content, ABM, digital
  • Ability to operate both strategically and tactically in high-autonomy, fast-paced settings
  • Experience in complex go-to-market environments (e.g., B2B2B, platform-based or ecosystem sales)
  • Background in cybersecurity, financial services, or government/defence sectors a strong plus

Why This Role?

You’ll take the reins of a well-regarded software company with strong foundations, profitability, product-market fit, and global customers, and help define the next phase of its growth. This is a rare opportunity to lead marketing in a highly technical environment, with influence across product, commercial, and strategic decisions. You’ll shape a new function, launch new products, grow a team, and make an outsized impact.
