We are looking for an experienced HR professional to lead and manage the delivery of a diverse range of projects across Zepz. Reporting to the People Director, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing OKRs on time and within budget. You will own defined OKRs ensuring delivery of our strategic priorities across the year. These are not project coordination or admin roles. Both require thought leadership and delivery skills, taking end-to-end ownership of defined deliverables according to agreed milestones. For example, OKRs will be focused around embedding our next-gen commitments, our culture, our operating model, embedding our performance philosophy, and increasing our teams' understanding of our business. These are great opportunities for highly commercial, data-led people to make a real impact within Zepz.
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in commercial HR, be natural problem-solvers who can translate strategic goals into actionable plans and effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. You will need a background in the identification of and delivery of strategic priorities in a fast-paced, consumer-led business with a varied technical skillset from both early-stage and mature businesses. You will build strong relationships and networks across all functions, business leaders, and Exco. You will confidently flex your style to be involved and supportive yet challenge where appropriate. As a member of Zepz’s People Team, you will aim high, embrace challenges, and always do what’s right; acting with integrity and building trust as you contribute to the company’s direction and long-term decision-making.
We believe different perspectives and backgrounds inside the People team lead to innovation and inclusion. We advocate for meaningful and engaging experiences for our diverse global customers. We support each other, learn from challenges, and have fun along the way.
What you will focus on:
- OKR delivery: scope, discovery, design and execution of key results against assigned OKRs and timescales;
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all communications related to your OKRs, ensuring alignment and buy-in from key stakeholders;
- Led by data: Analyse and interpret relevant data, workforce metrics creating insights to identify future OKRs with a natural focus on continuous process improvement.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve existing People processes, design and implement more efficient solutions, making them smoother, automated and more responsive, ensuring adherence to best practice and relevant legislation;
- End-to-end OKR Ownership: you will be an out-and-out “doer”, owning the end-to-end delivery of your own projects (OKRs) by managing every aspect of the process yourself from creating the project plan, writing the comms, creating and maintaining the spreadsheets/documentation, attending all meetings (e.g., consultation meetings, if required) and closing out the project through to retro;
- Change Management: Develop and execute change management plans to ensure that outcomes are adopted successfully by employees and managers;
- Budget & Risk Management: Deliver OKRs within budget, effectively manage operational costs, track data, key performance indicators, and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
- Status updates: Maintain appropriate documentation, status reports, stakeholder maps, and post-project retros ensuring all stakeholders feel well informed.
- Employee Experience: Ensure the employee experience is the best it can be, both for employees, Zepz and of course, for our users;
What you bring to the table:
- Proven experience in a People Partner or People Project Management role, where you have personally delivered outcomes/OKRs.
- Proven experience in a fast-paced consumer/tech business.
- A solid understanding of core People functions, processes, and relevant legislation;
- Strong proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g., advanced Excel and Google Docs);
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams;
- Proactive, analytical, and skilled at identifying and resolving related issues.
- Happy to roll up your sleeves and get into the details and more than happy with ambiguity and change (in fact, you probably thrive on both);
- You will have all the smarts and you will work fast and be responsive;
Our global team of 800+ people is spread across six continents. We aspire to hire the best mix of people from former Olympians to YouTube influencers and we speak over twenty languages. This incredible diversity isn't a bonus; it's the engine that lets us serve the world.
