Our client uses Kerridge as their ERP and currently has 3 separate instances across their group of companies. In H2 2026 they will consolidate to 1, but in H1 they need to get all 3 instances working the same way to make consolidation easier, so just 1 way of doing everything across the systems.
To oversee and deliver this piece of work, we are looking for an Interim Business Systems Manager that has extensive ERP experience including consolidation. The role is remote but will require some travel to Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire offices to meet stakeholders and project teams and also London less frequently to meet The Tech and Transformation Directors.
Stakeholders will be across Finance including A/P, A/R, Inventory, Commercial and so on. The role will be to get to grips with each system quickly and determine the correct operational processes to use across them. You will therefore need to define what stays and what goes and then create work packages of continuous improvement to configure the solutions and to determine resource allocation (in-house and/or external).
In addition to this, Reporting (Power BI) needs to be integrated and improved.
Key skills and experience:- An experienced Business Systems Manager with extensive experience of ERP systems including consolidation for multiple instances to 1.
- Kerridge ERP would be nice to have but not essential. Understanding ERP and consolidation and changing operational processes for ERP is more important than the actual system.
- Strong stakeholder management of finance stakeholders.
- Ability to capture and improve operational processes and oversee technical change (configuration) to meet the changes.
- Define and deliver work packages being the bridge between technical and the business.
- Experience of delivering integrated reporting for ERP Systems (Power BI nice to have).
- Experience of a distributed business of goods (not services) such as Retail, Building Merchants, FMCG, Logistics.
- Must be Southeast based and whilst you will be working remotely, recognise the need to be onsite at times in Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire and London (less frequently).
This role is outcome-based and outside IR35 starting 12th January for 6 months. Can interview Monday 22nd PM if we present Monday AM otherwise w/c 5th Jan.
