We are looking for a passionate, nurturing, and enthusiastic Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant to join our Outstanding mainstream primary school, based in Camden, supporting in Nursery. Job Description

  • Support children's learning through play-based activities
  • Deliver phonics, reading, communication, and early literacy support
  • Encourage language development and social interaction
  • Support fine motor, sensory, and creative activities
  • Assist with outdoor learning and exploration activities
  • Support children's emotional wellbeing and confidence
  • Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing classroom environment
  • Encourage independence and positive behaviour
  • Support children during transitions and daily routines
  • Assist with observations and child development monitoring

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a full and relevant Level 3 qualification
  • Is passionate about Early Years education and child development
  • Has experience working within Nursery or Reception settings
  • Is warm, nurturing, and patient
  • Has strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Is creative, enthusiastic, and proactive
  • Understands safeguarding and child-centred practice
  • Can build positive relationships with children and families

Position: Nursery TA

Setting: Nursery

Working Hours: 08:30am - 16:30pm (Full-Time)

Pay: £115 per day

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full Academic Year (Long-Term)

Trial Days: Selected candidates will be invited to attend an interview and observation session as part of the recruitment process.
