The Financial Controller will work closely with the Financial Director to build a high‑performing, insight‑led finance function within a fast‑growing, premium healthcare group. What Your Day Will Look Like
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes with accuracy and discipline
- Produce high‑quality management accounts, dashboards, and financial insights
- Strengthen financial controls, compliance, and governance across all sites
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Manage cashflow reporting and treasury processes
- Support the Financial Director with strategic planning and financial modelling
- Partner with Senior Leadership Team and Practice Managers to ensure financial clarity and accountability
- Prepare audit files and liaise with external auditors
- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and data quality
- Support the integration of new practices as the group expands

Essential Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Experience in a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager role
- Strong technical grounding in financial reporting, controls, and compliance
- Experience in multi‑site, multi‑entity, or fast‑growth environments
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability
- Strong understanding of cashflow, budgeting, and forecasting
- Excellent communication skills, able to translate numbers into clear insights
- High integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
Desirable
- Experience in healthcare or other multi‑site consumer environments
- Experience implementing or optimising finance systems
- Exposure to private equity or scaling organisations
