As a Senior Data Consultant, you will be responsible for providing advisory and thought leadership on the migration to Azure/Databricks Data Cloud or implementing data solutions using Data Cloud services including integration with existing data and analytics platforms and tools. You will contribute in pre-sales and design, implement scalable data architectures, and information solutions covering data security, data privacy, data governance, metadata management, multi-tenancy and mixed workload management, and provide delivery oversight.

- Work with different customers to consult on technical solutions
- Provide technical thought leadership to senior stakeholders
- Understanding requirements and writing technical documents
- Planning end to end technical scope of the project and customer engagement area including planning sprint and delivery
- Responding to client RFI, RFP documents with proper solution design including cost estimates
- Understanding customer requirements and create technical proposition
- Contributing to SoWs, technical project roadmaps, etc required for successful execution of projects leveraging Technical Scoping & Solutioning approach
- Managing and owning all aspects of technical development and delivery
- Ensuring code review and developing best practices
- Estimating effort, identifying risk and providing technical support whenever needed
- Demonstrating the ability to multitask and re-prioritising responsibility based on dynamic requirements
Skills required to contribute:
- 12-15 Years of Data and Analytics experience with minimum 7 years in Azure Cloud
- A wealth of experience creating data architectures and models in large, consumer-orientated organisations.
- Proven experience in consulting and delivering end to end solutions, high level architecture and associated principles to include data sourcing, integrations/flows, usage, whilst retaining policy compliance.
- Ability to design and model a modern data platform and be able to think about how data is used and delivers value to the business
- Experience of successfully and confidently engaging with senior stakeholders and being able to translate the key business drivers and requirements into Data Models and Solution Design.
- Strong communication, able to present ideas well to a variety of colleagues and clients, and author clear and succinct documents.
- Proven record in creating low level solution designs aligned with the high-level architecture and principles.
- Experience with a variety of modern data design and management tools, e.g., ER_Studio, Collibra, Precisely, OneTrust
- Experience in MDM/DQM/Data Governance technologies like Collibra, Atacama, Alation, Reltio
- Experience with modern data, analytics and business intelligence tools, - Promethium, Databricks, Spark, Fabric, SQL, Python, and PowerBi is a must
- End-to-end experience of gathering and documenting requirements to deliver Solutions Designs that meet business objectives.
- Experience handling multiple projects and priorities, managing timescales and delivery across a virtual, technical, cross-functional team
- Robust knowledge of GDPR and likely implications on data management
- Experience operating with an engineering, agile and devops mindset.
- Technical expertise with Git, Jira, etc.
- 3-5 years of experience working for Insurance organisations in the UK is a must
