Description
We're looking for an experienced Network Security & Infrastructure Architect to lead enterprise network transformation, security hardening, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, designing, and implementing secure, scalable, and resilient network solutions across enterprise, data center, hosted, and edge environments.
Responsibilities
- Enterprise Network Hardening (Software Defined Access - SDA)
- Review and assess the current enterprise network security posture, architecture, and operational controls.
- Define and implement network security policies aligned with industry best practices and security frameworks.
- Identify security gaps, vulnerabilities, and configuration weaknesses across the enterprise network landscape.
- Develop recommendations and remediation plans to strengthen network security and compliance.
- Reconfigure and optimize Software Defined Access (SDA) and data center network environments based on assessment findings and best-practice recommendations.
- Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure consistent policy enforcement and governance.
- Hosted & Edge Network Transformation
- Conduct firewall estate reviews and drive firewall policy alignment initiatives to ensure consistent rule sets across environments.
- Develop a comprehensive Check Point firewall replacement strategy, including discovery, assessment, architecture design, technology evaluation, migration planning, and business case development.
- Evaluate existing Cisco routing infrastructure and identify opportunities for performance, resiliency, and operational improvements.
- Lead routing assessment activities, including network discovery, design validation, and implementation planning.
- Implement routing enhancements and optimization recommendations across enterprise and edge environments.
- Develop a strategic Network Refresh Roadmap covering hardware lifecycle management, technology modernization, capacity planning, and future-state architecture.
Qualifications
Technical Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in enterprise networking, network security, and infrastructure architecture.
- Hands-on expertise with Cisco networking technologies, including routing, switching, and Software Defined Access (SDA).
- Proven experience with firewall platforms, including Check Point and other leading security technologies.
- Deep understanding of network security principles, segmentation, zero-trust architectures, and secure access controls.
- Experience conducting network assessments, architecture reviews, and transformation programs.
- Knowledge of data center networking, hosted environments, cloud connectivity, and edge network architectures.
- Familiarity with industry security frameworks and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, CISSP, CISM, Check Point certifications, or equivalent.
- Experience leading large-scale network modernization and security transformation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management, documentation, and presentation skills.
