The Opportunity
Build the AI capabilities that power ZenroxIQ. You will develop computer vision for equipment identification, machine learning for price optimization, and predictive models for demand forecasting—directly impacting procurement efficiency across UK healthcare.
What You Will Do
- Develop visual equipment search using image recognition and specification extraction
- Build price optimization algorithms for real-time market benchmarking
- Create predictive procurement models (60-90 day demand forecasting)
- Implement supplier matching algorithms with performance scoring
- Integrate third-party AI services (OpenAI, Google Vision API)
- Establish model monitoring, evaluation, and continuous improvement processes
- Work with structured and unstructured data from supplier catalogs and transaction history
What You Bring
- 3+ years hands-on experience with machine learning and AI development
- Strong Python skills with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Experience with computer vision or image recognition systems
- Practical knowledge of recommendation systems or matching algorithms
- Understanding of time series forecasting and predictive analytics
- Ability to deploy models to production and monitor performance
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ideal Background
- Experience with marketplace, e-commerce, or pricing optimization systems
- Familiarity with NLP for document/specification extraction
- Background in healthcare, supply chain, or procurement analytics
