Location: Plymouth
Salary: Up to £45,000
Overview
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be involved in the full mechanical design lifecycle, from concept and detailed design through to prototyping, testing, and production handover.
My client works on building electro‑mechanical systems that are used globally.
Job Responsibilities
Designing innovative mechanical products from concept to manufacture
Collaborating with engineers across multiple disciplines
Creating concept designs based on customer and project requirements
Building and testing prototypes to validate performance
Key Skills Required
Proven experience in mechanical design, ideally within a product development environment
Strong CAD skills with experience in prototyping and testing
Experience manufacturing and designing products and components using processes such as Plastic Injection Moulding, Sheet Metal Fabrication & CNC Machining.
