Location: Bournemouth Working Arrangement: 5 Day\’s On-Site, Half Day Working on Friday\’s Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)    Overview of Opportunity:     Working within a team of Electronic, Software & Mechanical Engineers, you will be focusing on product development, taking a clients requirement through from concept to manufacturing.    You will be expected to develop and create electronic and electrical designs for safety-critical products, accompanied by comprehensive manufacturing data to ensure seamless production and adherence to stringent safety standards.    Responsibilities of the Role:     - Take ownership of functional requirements for hardware, research potential solutions, and design efficient systems that meet project needs, ensuring reliability and performance.    - Develop a comprehensive understanding of the full system architecture, considering all interactions with hardware and software components to ensure seamless integration.    - Utilise CAD software to create detailed schematics and PCB layouts, adhering to industry standards and best practices.    - Author hardware specifications, detailing functionality, interfaces, and technical requirements, to ensure clear communication and understanding among stakeholders.    - Prepare test documentation for validation and functional testing, ensuring that designs meet requirements and perform as expected    - Generate manufacturing data and documentation to facilitate efficient production, including Bill of Materials (BOM), assembly instructions, and testing protocols    Required Experience:     -Background in electronics and hardware design, preferably in a sector with strict regulatory requirements, such as defence, aviation/aerospace or Medical, where safety, reliability, and quality are paramount.      – Degree in a relevant area such as Electronic or Electrical Engineering To find out more, please apply with your latest CV and you will be contacted with full information
