Role Overview: Zenovo are looking for an Electronic Design Engineer to join their client in Reading, that develops bespoke electronic and embedded hardware solutions for customers across a number of different industries. An ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience outside of university; however, we will consider candidates that have done a year-in-industry + 1 year in a commercial environment post-university.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop analogue and digital electronic circuits
- Produce schematics, PCB layouts, and prototype assemblies
- Support board bring-up, testing, debugging, and validation
- Develop and debug embedded firmware in C/C++
- Work with STM32, Raspberry Pi, and embedded microcontroller platforms
- Support embedded communication protocols including SPI, I2C, and UART
- Assist with component selection, design reviews, and technical documentation
- Collaborate with customers
