We’re seeking an innovative Project Manager to join a collaborative NPI team. This position plays a key role in delivering complex engineering projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently achieved.
Working closely with internal departments such as engineering, quality, procurement, and production, you will coordinate activity across the full project lifecycle while maintaining a strong customer focus. Clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and effective stakeholder management will be essential to success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, lead, and coordinate project teams to ensure strong collaboration and clear communication
- Drive project delivery by motivating multi-disciplinary teams to achieve milestones on time
- Ensure all activities remain aligned with defined project scope and objectives
- Act as the main point of contact for customers, providing updates and managing expectations
- Identify, monitor, and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Take ownership of project budgets, including cost tracking, purchasing, and resource allocation
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation (plans, drawings, reports, meeting notes, compliance records)
- Review project outcomes, capturing lessons learned and sharing best practices across the business
- Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards and procedures
About You
- HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline; project management qualification advantageous
- Experience delivering or supporting projects within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Understanding of NPI processes, project lifecycles, and manufacturing considerations
- Commercial awareness, including experience managing budgets, costs, and resources
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Confident communicator, capable of working with both internal teams and external customers
- Proactive problem-solver, able to identify, track, and escalate risks and issues
- Experience using project management tools and maintaining structured documentation
- Comfortable working with technical documentation such as drawings and specifications
- Self-motivated, accountable, and takes ownership of project delivery
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and customer-focused in approach
- Committed to continuous improvement and professional development
