An established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking a Finance Business Systems Analyst to join its growing Dynamics team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in improving business processes and driving digital transformation through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management.
Working closely with finance stakeholders, business analysts, and technical teams, you will analyse business requirements, recommend effective solutions, and support the delivery of system enhancements across the organisation. You’ll also contribute to the ongoing implementation of Dynamics 365, helping to standardise processes and improve operational efficiency across multiple business areas.
- Identify opportunities to improve finance processes using Dynamics 365 and related technologies
- Support the implementation and enhancement of Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management solutions
- Lead or support local project teams through system improvements and change initiatives
- Promote standardised processes and best practices across international business units
- Coordinate and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Acceptance Into Service (AIS) activities
- Develop technical documentation, functional specifications, and testing materials
- Support data management initiatives and contribute to business insight through data analysis
- Help drive the adoption of digital technologies and modern business practices within finance
Qualifications:
- ACCA, ACA, CIMA or CCAB qualified (this is essential)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience implementing, supporting, or enhancing Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 / Dynamics 365
- Strong knowledge of core finance modules, including:
- General Ledger
- Purchase Ledger
- Sales Ledger
- Fixed Assets
- Cash & Bank Management
- Knowledge of process mapping, data ecosystems, and data analysis techniques
- Familiarity with coding or data wrangling concepts
- Experience with Business Intelligence and Data Governance practices
- Passion for continuous improvement and digital innovation
