Overview: Zenovo are supporting a repeat client, who are a growing engineering organisation in their search for a Quality Engineer with a strong mechanical and manufacturing background to join their team in Bristol. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, goods-inwards, quality control, engineering, and sustaining. A successful candidate will take on a varied position, with responsibilities ranging from conducting supplier audits and developing supplier quality metrics, to auditing internal procedures and creating new processes to support ongoing business growth. Job Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve quality issues across internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Manage supplier issues/queries and ensure effective corrective actions.
- Support and improve the Quality Management System, including ISO9001 compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to drive quality improvements.
- Assist with Quality and Inspection Plans and support Quality Control activities.
- Develop, review, and maintain procedures, process documentation, and quality plans.
- Conduct internal and external audits.
- Prepare and present quality reports to senior management, customers, and suppliers.
- Support KPI tracking and reporting.
Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Quality Engineering role.
- Manufacturing/engineering background with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven approach.
- Experience with CMMs, inspection methods, and measurement equipment.
- Working knowledge of ISO9001 QMS, with familiarity of ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO27001.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Collaborative team player with strong cross-functional communication skills.
