We are hiring an experienced Android Infotainment Developer to join an agile, collaborative team in Gothenburg’s leading tech hub. You’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of Android-based infotainment systems used by drivers around the world.
About the Role
You will be involved in the full development lifecycle – from software architecture and coding through to validation and delivery. The role focuses on application and native layers within the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) stack and requires close cooperation with UX and cross-functional teams.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop Android applications and system components for next-gen infotainment platforms
- Work with AOSP and the Android build system
- Apply Android architectural patterns (MVVM, MVP, Clean Architecture)
- Collaborate on UI development (Jetpack Compose experience is a plus)
- Write and maintain tests (JUnit, Espresso, Mockk)
- Use Python for automation or scripting in a Linux development environment
- Use Git and Gerrit for collaborative development
You Bring
- M.Sc. in Software Engineering or equivalent experience (5+ years in Android dev)
- Proven Android development skills (Java/Kotlin, AOSP)
- Familiarity with embedded Linux environments
- Experience with Git, Gerrit, and modern Android toolchains
- Automotive infotainment experience is a strong advantage
- Driver’s license (Swedish B) is a plus
