We are currently working with an established engineering business, who are looking to recruit an experienced LabVIEW Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded engineer to work on a variety of innovative engineering projects, developing and delivering software solutions for complex test, measurement and automation systems.
About the Role: Design, develop and maintain software applications using LabVIEW. Develop software for automated test, measurement and data acquisition systems. Work on the integration of hardware, instrumentation and control systems. Support the testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of software and associated equipment. Produce technical documentation, specifications and software design information. Collaborate with electrical, electronic and mechanical engineers on project delivery. Identify opportunities to improve existing software, systems and engineering processes. Ensure solutions meet project requirements, quality standards and customer expectations.
About You: Proven experience in LabVIEW software development. Experience developing automated test, measurement, or control systems. Good understanding of hardware integration and data acquisition. Knowledge of instrumentation, sensors and control systems. Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate requirements into software solutions. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Experience with NI hardware, TestStand, PLCs or other programming languages would be advantageous.
