Location: Hybrid (Office days in Coventry)

Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 (depending on experience)

We are hiring on behalf of one of our clients in the Coventry area for an exciting opportunity as a Senior Electronics Engineer. If you have a passion for innovative product development and a strong background in electronic design, we’d love to hear from you!

As a Senior Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in the end-to-end development of a wide range of products — from well-known consumer goods and advanced transport solutions to safety-critical devices. You'll collaborate closely with designers, mechanical engineers, and software developers to create cutting-edge products from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of new electronic and electromechanical products.
  • Develop product specifications, technical documentation, and test protocols.
  • Design system architectures, including hardware/software partitioning.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and investigate emerging technologies.
  • Create and review analogue and digital electronic circuit schematics.
  • Oversee and manage PCB layout design and development.
  • Support multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills.
  • Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior electronics engineers.
About You:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a hardware design engineer.
  • Proven expertise in both analogue and digital electronic design.
  • Strong background in schematic capture and PCB design oversight.
  • Ability to lead projects from initial concept through to final product launch.
  • Experience working on multidisciplinary electronics projects is highly desirable.
