We’re partnering with an innovative technology company seeking a Power Electronics Design Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on the design and development of advanced power electronic systems, from concept through to production, in a collaborative, technically driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop power electronic circuits, including DC-DC, AC-DC, and motor drive systems
- Create schematics and PCB layouts for high-current and high-voltage designs, including multi-layer boards
- Select components, calculate ratings, and manage bills of materials (BOMs) for power designs
- Support prototype build, bring-up, testing, and debugging, including thermal and efficiency validation
- Conduct design verification, EMC/EMI testing, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Participate in design reviews and produce clear technical documentation
- Support transition from prototype to production, including manufacturability and reliability considerations
Required Skills
- Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong experience in power electronics design (switch-mode power supplies, converters, etc.)
