Job Description Job Title : Senior Electronic Design Engineer\n Location : Taunton (On-Site)\n Salary : £60,000 - £70,000 + Bonus & Benefits (Depending on Experience)\n Please Note : All Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without the need for VISA sponsorship now or in the future.\n Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated Electronic Design Engineer to join our client's growing engineering team. Our client is one of the world's largest manufacturers of identification and tracking systems, including electronic tags and RFID readers.\n \nThe role covers the full product development lifecycle, from concept, PCB design and prototyping through to testing, manufacture, deployment, and ongoing support.\n \n Design and develop electronic circuits, systems, and PCBs for battery-powered and mains-powered products. \n Create PCB schematics and layouts using PCB design software, ideally Altium Designer. \n Build, test, debug, and validate electronic hardware using laboratory test and measurement equipment. \n Apply EMC/EMI principles, DFM, and DFT throughout the product development lifecycle. \n Select components and support PCB manufacture, assembly, and supplier relationships. \n Produce technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, assembly drawings, and test procedures. \n Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and contribute to continuous product and process improvement. \n Required Skills & Experience : \n \n Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline. \n Strong experience in electronic circuit design and PCB development. \n Experience with PCB design software; n Experience designing low-power battery-powered and mains-powered electronic products. \n Awareness of C/C++. \n Strong hardware debugging, testing, and fault-finding skills, with knowledge of EMC/EMI and regulatory compliance. \n Understanding of PCB manufacturing processes, DFM, and electronic component selection. \
