Job Requirements:
- Design and development of electronic embedded systems for subsea and shipboard applications.
- Creation of new products from initial concept to final production, including both component and system-level development.
- Enhancement and maintenance of existing products through design improvements, addressing component obsolescence, and implementing cost-reduction strategies.
Necessary Experience/Skills:
- Extensive expertise in defining and developing electronic products to meet customer specifications.
- Proficient in designing for compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Experienced with communication protocols such as Ethernet, RS485, SPI, I2C, I2S, among others.
- Practical knowledge of Altium Designer.
- Demonstrated success in collaborative multidisciplinary settings.
- Strong hands-on debugging abilities and familiarity with laboratory equipment.
Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Working knowledge of programming languages such as C, VHDL, and Python.
- Familiar with Linux operating systems.
- Experience with version control systems.
- Skilled in PCB layout using Altium, creating manufacturing documentation, and collaborating with PCB fabrication and assembly services.
