Location: Torquay
Salary: Up to £65,000 (Depending on Experience)
As a key member of a multi-skilled engineering team, you will leverage your expertise in your field to ensure high-quality, competitive products are being delivered. You will have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of high-performance, high-efficiency electronics design.
Responsibilities:
- Creation of electronic designs for new products
- Working closely with manufacturing and supply chain divisions to ensure seamless integration of new product designs
- Maintain existing electronic assemblies through troubleshooting, testing, and redesign as needed
- Management of obsolescent components
- Produce all relevant supporting documentation and maintain BoM
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a commercial environment
- Expertise in schematic design, PCB layout (Using Altium), and both digital & analogue electronics
- Proven track record of excellent fault-finding
Education:
- Degree in a relevant area such as Electronic or Software Engineering
