Zenovo are looking for a Junior Electronic Design Engineer to join their client in Cambridge who design and manufacture globally recognised consumer electronics.
Responsibilities include:
- Work on electronics hardware development projects, with hands-on involvement in specification, design, implementation, and testing.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal hardware development processes in collaboration with the Head of Software and Electronics.
- Support EMC design, testing, and compliance efforts.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and contract manufacturers.
- Understanding of core electronics engineering principles, including analogue design, SMPS, EMC/EMI, and PCB development.
- Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to diagnose issues and deliver effective engineering solutions.
- Skilled in PCB design and schematic capture using Altium, or willing to develop expertise in this area.
- Proficient in the use of test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters (DMMs), current probes and power supplies.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
