We are seeking an experienced Key / National Account Manager to manage and develop a portfolio of major UK customer accounts. The role focuses on driving profitable growth across national and key accounts within grocery and retail channels, while building strong, long-term customer partnerships. This is a hybrid role, with regular collaboration from the Chiswick office.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop assigned key and national customer accounts across multiple sectors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring all account requirements are met effectively.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders within each account.
- Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities within existing customers and developing new business.
- Manage forecasting and demand planning for allocated accounts.
- Identify range gaps and opportunities to introduce additional products.
- Maintain full responsibility for account performance, including commercial outcomes and profitability.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience managing key or national accounts within the FMCG sector.
- Strong understanding of the UK grocery and retail landscape.
- Demonstrated experience managing P&L responsibility for customer accounts.
- Commercially minded with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work on a hybrid basis, with two days per week in the Chiswick office.
Salary: Approximately £45,000 base salary
Bonus: Up to 15% performance-related bonus (dependent on experience)
Annual Leave: 25 days per year
