Field Service Engineer β Endoscopy
for a global leader in medical imaging, diagnostics and healthcare technology. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established Endoscopy Service Team, providing technical support across NHS and private healthcare sites throughout South West England and Wales. Working with advanced endoscopy systems, you'll be responsible for ensuring customers receive exceptional technical support while maximising equipment uptime, reliability and performance. The role offers an excellent blend of preventative maintenance, fault finding, repairs, installations and customer support, making it ideal for an experienced engineer looking to develop their career within the medical technology sector. You'll work closely with NHS hospitals, private healthcare providers, Service Managers and fellow engineers to deliver a high standard of technical support and customer service across your territory. What you'll be doing
Carry out planned preventative maintenance on complex endoscopy and electro-medical equipment.
Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic and mechanical faults.
Attend customer sites to investigate equipment failures and minimise downtime.
Install, commission and configure new medical equipment.
Carry out equipment testing, calibration and performance checks.
Provide technical support and guidance to NHS and private healthcare customers.
Complete service reports, maintenance records and technical documentation accurately.
Work closely with Service Managers and fellow engineers to manage customer requirements across your territory.
Manage your own workload and diary, prioritising service calls and planned maintenance effectively.
Maintain a high standard of customer service and represent the organisation professionally on customer sites.
Travel extensively throughout South West England and Wales, including occasional overnight stays.

What we're looking for
We're looking to speak with experienced Field Service Engineers who have strong electro-mechanical fault-finding skills and are comfortable working independently across a customer-facing territory. Previous experience within medical devices, scientific equipment, complex capital equipment or a similar technical environment would be highly relevant. Candidates from an electrical, electronic, mechanical, medical engineering, scientific equipment, industrial engineering or current/ex-military engineering background will also be considered. Strong customer-facing communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage your own workload and territory effectively. You'll need to be comfortable travelling extensively across South West England and Wales, including occasional overnight stays. A full UK driving licence is required. Package and benefits
