The Opportunity

Our client, an established pharmaceutical company, is looking for an

Associate Brand Manager

to join their growing UK marketing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for either an early-career marketer looking to develop within the pharmaceutical industry or someone with

23 years of marketing experience

who is ready to take on a broad and hands-on brand role.

The successful candidate will support a portfolio of products across

Gastroenterology and Hepatology , working closely with the Brand Manager and wider commercial team to deliver brand plans, marketing campaigns, digital projects and customer engagement initiatives.

The position offers significant exposure across the wider business, with opportunities to work alongside Sales, Medical and Regulatory teams and become involved in projects beyond the traditional Associate Brand Manager remit.

Key Responsibilities

The Associate Brand Manager will: Support the development and implementation of annual brand and operational plans. Support marketing activity across a portfolio of Gastroenterology and Hepatology products. Develop and update digital marketing initiatives and web-based projects. Create and coordinate promotional materials and sales aids to support the field sales team. Support the planning and delivery of customer-facing events, including symposia, webinars and meetings. Liaise with external agencies to ensure marketing projects are delivered effectively, on time and within budget. Support engagement initiatives with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders. Work collaboratively with Sales, Medical, Regulatory and other internal teams. Maintain a strong understanding of relevant therapy areas and market developments. Ensure promotional materials and marketing programmes comply with internal procedures and the

ABPI Code of Practice . Support wider commercial and project-based initiatives as required.

Candidate Profile

Our client is open to candidates at different stages of their marketing career.

The successful candidate could be a

graduate with relevant marketing experience

gained through a placement year or graduate scheme , or someone with approximately

23 years of marketing experience .

Ideally, candidates will have: Marketing experience within

pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences or medical devices , with pharmaceutical experience preferred. A degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences or a related discipline would be advantageous, although relevant experience will also be considered. Experience supporting marketing campaigns, commercial projects, meetings or product launches. Strong organisational and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience working with or managing external agencies. Exposure to HCP-facing events such as symposia, webinars or conferences. An understanding of

ABPI compliance

or experience working within a regulated healthcare environment. Digital marketing, website or CRM experience would be advantageous. A full UK driving licence would be desirable.
