A large food manufacturing company is looking for a Production Manager for the Night Shift to lead their dynamic team in Telford. The Shift Pattern for the role is Sunday to Thursday 21.30 to 06.30.
What You Will Do:
- Lead and develop a team of Section Managers, driving both individual and departmental performances.
- Ensure the operational output within your designated factory area meets KPIs, targets, and business objectives.
- Champion the Zone for customer visits and audits, ensuring effective planning, coordination, and delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within your Zone and across the site.
- Ensure adherence to all food safety, health & safety, and quality standards.
- Provide feedback and analyze the effectiveness of new projects, policies, and procedures to senior management.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience as a Section or Production Manager within a food manufacturing environment with experience of leading production & site operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Project and continuous improvement experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build successful working relationships at all levels.
- Customer-centered approach to work, using customer specifications and company standards to measure quality of product.
