ABOUT ZENOBE

Our goal is to make clean power accessible, to accelerate the shift to zero carbon power and transport.

We’re building and operating the world’s most sophisticated battery systems to enable the uptake of more renewable power and accelerating fleet electrification, de-risking the transition to zero-emission transport at scale. We’ve been consistently innovative since we were founded in 2017, achieving major industry firsts and using proprietary software and data analysis to optimise operational performance for our customers. At the end of their life, we repurpose electric vehicle batteries to provide clean power at depots, on construction sites and film sets.

Today we have 730 MW of grid scale battery storage operational and under construction and are the largest owner and operator of EV buses in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, supporting over 1,000 electric vehicles worldwide. In our first five years we have raised nearly £1.8 billion in funding and have expanded into other markets such as the US. Our rapidly growing company is looking for highly talented and motivated people to join us.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Following Zenobe’s rapid growth story, an exciting opportunity has arisen in the Finance team. With global expansion and rapid growth, Zenobe is looking to hire a technically proficient, well-rounded Senior Accountant to join the Finance team.

The successful candidate will report into the Senior Finance Manager and will play a crucial role in building robust processes, closing the books, developing best-in-class financial reporting, and dealing with complex accounting transactions.

This is a hands-on position, with plenty of scope to gain exposure to the entire finance operation. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this hybrid role spans treasury and the broader finance function, offering a broad and exciting scope. You will be at the heart of our operations, providing critical support to ensure robust financial processes, accurate reporting, and efficient treasury management. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a comprehensive skill set as a finance professional in a rapidly evolving international business.

You will get exposure to all aspects of the business and will have the opportunity to work closely with the leadership and commercial teams, develop project financing skills, and deliver valuable internal and external reporting.

If you are a hands-on accounting professional, with a passion for international business and a desire to grow with a cutting-edge company, Zenobe could be the perfect place for you.
