Zenobē is a high growth purpose led B2B scale up with a mission to make clean power accessible at scale. We do this by making clean power the affordable and reliable choice, with solutions for the power and transport sectors based on leading battery expertise. Our two largest business units are focused on developing and operating Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), and electrifying bus and truck (EV) fleets & their depots. We also re-purpose our EV batteries after their first life to offer Portable Power to the construction industry and for commissioning renewables. Today we have a leading position in the UK and Australasia and are rapidly expanding in Europe and North America, evidenced by large recent wins and targeted acquisitions.

As we grow across our selected markets, we are looking for a hands-on marketing and communications leader to take the brand through the next stage of growth and ensure Zenobē is considered for every relevant opportunity. You will be building on the foundations we have developed, professionalising our support for sales teams and establishing our brand internationally.

You will work with Business Development, the Leadership Team, Corporate Finance and Product Management to define our strategy and positioning, and to deliver the campaigns, materials and tools that bring it to life. You will support regional Business Development teams with events, conferences and origination campaigns that drive our pipeline. Plus, you will own our website, press and social media presence, including content strategy, media training for key colleagues and brand consistency across every channel.

You will also explore new tools and processes to measure marketing effectiveness, govern how data is used in our materials, and manage reputational risk proactively, including leading our response in a crisis. This is both an individual contributor and a management responsibility role. We want someone who is as comfortable producing the work as directing it: from writing copy to identifying campaign resources - doing what it takes to get the event over the line.

A TASTE OF THE DAY TO DAY

  • Campaign design & execution: work with our EV Business Development and Product teams to communicate the business benefits of our leading EV solutions.
  • Brand Positioning: work with the Leadership Team to define our target Brand Positioning, define the strategy and the levers to achieve this and the risks to be managed.
  • Support Origination: review target countries and customer groups with Business Development and results of recent campaigns and automation tools.
  • Event Management: select Events which reach our target customer groups, define our role in each event and trigger local preparation.
  • Digital presence: complete delivery of our new international website and then turn this into a sales support tool.
  • Train thought leaders: develop a training program for Zenobē experts on how to become thought leaders, use of social media and enable them to define and measure their impact.
  • Employer brand: collaborate with the People & Talent team to strengthen our employer brand, supporting attraction and recruitment.
  • Risk and Crisis Management: identify risks to our brand and their mitigation, including media training, statements and briefings.

Health and Safety

Actively contribute to Zenobē's commitment to health and safety, wellbeing and sustainability by integrating these principles into daily responsibilities, ensuring a safe and supportive work environment, promoting both the physical and mental health of self and colleagues, and adopting sustainable and energy-efficient practices to minimize environmental impact.

  • Proven record of using social media and AI to maximise origination performance in B2B markets.
  • Experience of working in at least two of Zenobē’s target markets (UK, EU, ANZ and North America).
