What’s the role? Account Executive with our B2B Technology PR team.
What’s the hours? Full-time role, 37.5 hours per week.
What’s the salary? £30K - £32K.
Where will I be working? Minimum of two days per week in our central London office in Old Street and the rest of the time from wherever you wish!
What will I be doing in the role? With at least twelve months’ experience behind you, this will be the next step in your PR career – bringing new challenges that will help you move through this exciting, fast-paced industry. You will be focusing on building on your understanding of the processes involved in PR, the client/agency relationship, media relations, content development, social media trends and ensuring the smooth running of client programmes. Working with the team, you’ll be on point to drive media coverage, prepare first drafts of written content, support on admin and reporting, media and trends research, social media content and helping brainstorm new ideas to take to clients. We have access to a suite of AI tools that you’ll be expected to use to add depth to your thinking and streamline tasks. Oh, and you’ll be building your supplier and media contacts along the way!
This role sits within our Technology team, looking after the brands that are shaping the way we live and work and transforming businesses. With clients including Zoom, Lenovo, ServiceNow, Snowflake and Celonis, we work with a mix of household names and category leaders. Our briefs include media relations, regional hub management, content creation, social media, measurement and influencer outreach.
General responsibilities include:
- Media materials creation, media outreach and relationship building.
- Organising and researching media, speaker and award opportunities, including sourcing and qualifying opportunities and status maintenance.
- Written content development – from social posts and short comments to blogs and reports.
- Collection, collation and distributing media coverage on a regular basis (including online monitoring).
- Online research using social media tools and techniques.
- Supporting the running of client accounts, helping to keep the team organised.
- Using AI platforms including Chat GPT and Microsoft Copilot to support research, analytical thinking and organisation.

- Media knowledge: You understand the technology, B2B and business media landscape and how to pitch stories to journalists. You enjoy building media contacts and exploring emerging media (e.g. podcasts, newsletters). You must be proficient in using basic media tools to research and develop insight on journalists, influencers and client competition.
- Media liaison and relationship building: You’re a people person and feel confident dealing with journalist enquiries, meeting journalists/creators and clients in a professional environment and building those all-important relationships with industry professionals.
- Organised, focused and big on quality: You set yourself high standards when it comes to your writing, you can manage multiple workloads and deadlines and pay close attention to the smallest details.
- Technology understanding: We don’t expect you to be an expert on everything, but having a basic understanding of and interest in how a range of technology (from cloud services to AI) works is helpful.
- AI curiosity: You have an interest in using AI to level up, including creating Custom GPTs and trying our new tools.
- Team player: You communicate extremely well with colleagues, you’re motivated and can take important feedback to ensure you are progressing in the right direction.
