About the Role: We are looking for an experienced Senior Account Director or Associate Director to join the ZDX team on a maternity cover contract, leading integrated social and creator programmes for a range of clients. This is a senior client-facing role for someone who combines strategic thinking with exceptional programme leadership. You will oversee the development and delivery of social media, content and creator marketing programmes, helping clients navigate an evolving digital landscape while ensuring work is delivered to the highest standard and drives measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Leadership & Strategic Counsel: Lead social and creator programmes across a portfolio of clients, providing strategic counsel and ensuring activity aligns with broader communications and business objectives. Build and maintain strong senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on social media, content and creator marketing.
- Social & Creator Programme Leadership: Oversee the development and execution of social media strategies, content programmes and creator partnerships across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and YouTube.
- Performance, Insight & Optimisation: Lead measurement frameworks and reporting approaches across social, creator and paid programmes. Champion the use of social listening, audience insight and performance data to inform content and campaign planning.
- Team Leadership & Capability Building: Line manage and develop junior members of the ZDX team, providing regular feedback, coaching, performance management and development support.
- Financial & Commercial Management: Manage budgets, timelines and project profitability across client programmes. Ensure projects are scoped appropriately and delivered efficiently against agreed budgets and objectives.
- Agency Leadership & Growth: Contribute to new business opportunities through strategic input, proposal development, pitch participation and capability presentations.

- Experienced social and creator leader: 8+ years' experience in agency or in-house digital roles, with strong expertise across social media strategy, content marketing and creator partnerships.
- Strategic client advisor: Experienced in building senior client relationships, leading strategic conversations and translating business objectives into effective social and creator programmes.
- Social and creator specialist: Deep understanding of social platforms, creator marketing, content strategy and digital culture, with the ability to apply platform best practices across a variety of sectors.
