We’re on the hunt for an Account Manager to join our growing Corporate Reputation team, to help us in building the reputations of some of the nation’s best-loved brands. We want people that are great writers, and are experienced in communicating to different audiences, that have a handle on the evolving media landscape and that are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with different stakeholders.

We are always keen to hear from people with different backgrounds but brilliant aptitude for problem solving and a solid grasp of the world of brand and communications is key. Ideally, you will have worked in an agency environment with a sound understanding of agency processes and people management.
As an Account Manager you are the engine room of any client account, ensuring smooth program delivery for both the team and the client. You are responsible for motivating and supervising junior members of the team. You will bring an attitude of ownership of success to your accounts, taking responsibility and running complex projects, managing the client relationships.
The Account Manager is key to driving proactive media coverage for their accounts, bringing their experience to create new ideas for clients and educating more junior members on how to make stories fly and excite clients. In addition, strong writing skills are required, to ensure all copy is delivered to deadline to a high standard.
You will have a mix of clients and will play a role in the development of the Corporate Reputation practice, helping the team with new business pitches and winning new clients.
In the Corporate Reputation team, we work collaboratively with other teams in the agency including Brand and Technology, so there are always opportunities to work cross-team.
Other requirements for the role are:
- Client experience and knowledge that includes a mix of: FMCG (ideally food and drink), financial services, tech, trade/stakeholder comms, issues and crisis, strong media relations, CSR/Sustainability and a channel agnostic approach enabling integrated thinking
- Develop and execute effective media relations strategies, underpinned by strong journalist relationships and informed by evolving news agenda.
- Able to manage large and busy teams and with an interest in people development
- Able to approve content that is of a high quality for our clients
- Positive, professional and solutions focused attitude
- Confidence in providing fast advice and counsel to clients at all levels
- Able to produce tip top written plans and materials….And a sense of humour of course!
