Key Responsibilities

  • Vision & Strategic Leadership: Define, communicate, and implement the AMEA biddable and performance media vision in alignment with global frameworks and client's business priorities. Translate clients’ growth objectives into clear, channel-specific performance strategies across Search, Social, and Programmatic. Ensure full integration with adjacent disciplines including Retail Media, SEO, Connected Commerce, and Data. Represent AMEA in global biddable and performance forums, ensuring best practices, innovation, and learnings are consistently cascaded across markets.
  • Performance Strategy, Optimization & Measurement: Own the regional performance media strategy — balancing efficiency, effectiveness, and brand growth. Define and embed optimization frameworks, performance KPIs, and measurement principles across all biddable channels. Translate insights from dashboards, testing, and reporting into actionable recommendations that inform planning, targeting, creative optimization, and investment decisions. Partner with Measurement & Analytics teams to ensure reporting accuracy, automation, and transparency. Support quarterly and annual performance reviews, ensuring learnings inform future campaign and budget planning.
  • Campaign Delivery & Activation Excellence: Oversee the quality, consistency, and effectiveness of all biddable campaign activation across AMEA markets. Establish and enforce standards for campaign setup, pacing, optimization, tagging, naming conventions, and reporting accuracy. Ensure activation excellence through training, playbooks, and alignment across regional hubs, offshore teams, and local markets. Partner closely with the AMEA Director of Operations to ensure workflows, tools, automation, and governance frameworks are consistently applied.
  • Innovation, Test & Learn, and Platform Partnerships: Establish and lead a structured regional test-and-learn agenda to advance clients’ performance maturity. Build strong partnerships with platform partners (Meta, Google, TikTok, Amazon, etc.) to unlock innovation opportunities, pilots, and early-access initiatives. Develop playbooks and best practices that promote consistency, learning, and knowledge sharing across markets. Collaborate with the Data Intelligence & Platform Director to operationalize 1st-party data, audience strategies, and identity solutions into activation workflows.
  • Operational & Cross-Functional Integration: Work hand-in-hand with the AMEA Director of Operations to align performance ambition with operational excellence, governance, and compliance. Ensure biddable and performance workflows align with broader regional operating models and automation initiatives. Partner with Data, Connected Commerce, and Audience teams to ensure insights and capabilities are embedded into performance planning and activation. Identify systemic gaps or inefficiencies and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve them.
  • Stakeholder & Client Engagement: Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across AMEA and Global. Represent performance and biddable excellence in strategic client discussions, reviews, and innovation forums. Proactively identify and present opportunities that drive incremental growth, efficiency, and effectiveness. Ensure transparency and clarity with global and local stakeholders on performance outcomes priorities, and capability evolution.
  • People Leadership & Capability Building: Lead and inspire the regional biddable and performance community across AMEA. Set clear objectives and expectations, ensuring consistently high delivery standards. Drive capability building through training, certification programs, and structured learning pathways. Foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, experimentation, and continuous improvement. Act as a senior mentor and subject matter expert for biddable and performance teams across AMEA.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience leading performance media and biddable activation across Search, Social, and Programmatic.
  • Proven success managing multi-market performance strategy and execution at a regional or global level.
  • Deep understanding of activation processes, optimization frameworks, and measurement systems.
  • Strong experience integrating data, analytics, and audience strategies into performance media execution.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Track record of driving innovation, capability building, and operational excellence at scale.
