This role will work on Essity, a global Hygiene and Health company. They are “Dedicated to improving well-being through leading hygiene and health solutions”. They have a stronghold in Europe with the Americas and Asia accelerating. They are mostly present across Feminine and Incontinence Care, Kitchen and Toilet hygiene across both B2C and B2B. They believe in brand building and as such have developed purpose-led campaigns, which take a stand, i.e. Viva La Vulva in 2019 or Periodsomnia 2023 (award-winning campaigns), celebrating women’s intimate V zone. They also have a strong focus on sustainability, which is a key pillar of each brand’s marketing strategy.
The Programmatic Manager will form part of a team of 4 in London and take responsibility for central account management and media planning, working closely with local market teams while also overseeing and working extremely closely with an activation team based in India. This role provides a unique opportunity to own and plan dynamic programmatic campaigns across a wide variety of mediums. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment and get the opportunity to take end-to-end ownership of operations, inspire and lead a small offshore team and learn from a wider growing agency team with leading data driven clients.
Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the day-to-day relationship with key local agency stakeholders including the direct client and the central client services.
- Manage expectations for all aspects of the campaign lifecycle with the client and client services team, from planning through to reporting.
- Build and own programmatic strategy, supporting the Associate Director for programmatic media planning including media partner/owner briefing and response to briefs.
- Build and own a test and learn roadmap for the client.
- Lead weekly internal and external programmatic/campaign status meetings, covering performance, pacing, key priorities and any other areas.
- Coordinate campaign requirements such as assets and tags to ensure timely campaign setup by the activation team.
- Support the Associate Director in maintaining key team resources and the Essity Programmatic Playbook, including other account/planning resources such as Rate Cards, Vendor Contact Lists etc.
- Own and oversee the timely delivery of campaign reporting cycle including weekly reports and PCAs, working closely with the activation team to ensure data integrity, well-written campaign insights and optimisation commentary.
- Inspire, lead and indirectly manage the offshore activation team, ensuring a strong one-team ethos and deep activation team understanding of account deliverables, media plans, strategy and any other requirements.
Qualifications:
- Highly self-driven, results-oriented, solutions-focused with a positive outlook.
- Proficient in major DSPs (e.g. Google’s DV360, Amazon AAP, Tradedesk) and extensive knowledge of the RTB and wider programmatic landscape.
- Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills.
