We are currently looking for a Senior Finance Manager - Corporate to play a key role in supporting one of Zenith's most strategic transformation programmes. This role will take end-to-end ownership of finance processes for Project MCL, acting as the primary finance contact and ensuring robust reporting, controls, and commercial insight throughout the project lifecycle. You will be part of the Corporate Finance team, working cross-functionally across Management Accounting, Shared Services, External Reporting, Treasury, Funding Operations, and FP&A. The role also partners closely with operational and product teams, providing clear financial leadership, strong governance, and effective decision support.

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop end-to-end finance processes for Project MCL, acting as the key finance point of contact.
  • Translate business processes into accurate accounting treatments under UK GAAP (FRS 102).
  • Lead business case development, investment appraisal, and benefits realisation tracking for new MCL products.
  • Deliver accurate and timely management and statutory reporting, ensuring strong balance sheet controls.
  • Ensure budget, forecast, and outturn assumptions are accurate and well understood.
  • Support internal and external audit processes, maintaining a robust financial control framework.

Qualifications

  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
  • At least 2 years post-qualification experience across multiple accounting disciplines.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge with the ability to apply it commercially.
  • Experience working with large data sets and producing high-quality financial analysis.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills, influencing decisions beyond finance.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
