As part of our 50+ strong Corporate Commercial team, reporting directly into the Corporate Sales Director, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and successfully securing new large-corporate customers. This is a national role, focused on UK-based corporates with large fleet requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identifying and seeking out new business opportunities.
- Leading discovery-led sales conversations to understand client objectives, challenges and commercial drivers.
- Demonstrating excellent presentation skills when selling the Company's key features and benefits to secure new customers.
- Being an expert in your field; continually keeping up to date with industry topics, trends and products.
- Making accurate cost calculations and providing customers with detailed quotations when required.
- Negotiating terms of agreement and demonstrating the ability to close sales successfully.
- Ensuring the smooth progression of the sale through to delivery.
- Ensuring excellent account management skills are delivered to the Company's customer base both new and existing.
- Ensuring the implementation of new business wins are processed in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensuring monthly, quarterly and yearly Company targets are achieved and where possible exceeded.
- Travel and overnight stays as the needs of the business dictates.
What You'll Bring:
- A detailed understanding of the leasing/fleet sector.
- Clear and demonstrable Business Development experience.
- Proven success winning and growing large corporate accounts.
- High level of communication, inter-personal skills and emotional intelligence.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to effectively close sales successfully.
- Ability to challenge confidently and constructively at all levels.
- Experience of producing reports and confidently presenting at key committees/board.
