Our client based in South Tyneside are looking for an experienced Building Surveyor to join their team on an ongoing contract.
Job description:
- Working on damp and mould inspections within the Healthy Homes team.
- Undertaking detailed inspections of residential properties to identify causes of damp, mould and condensation.
- Diagnose building defects.
- Providing technical solutions to ensure properties meet Healthy Homes standards and statutory requirements.
Person Specification:
- Must have relevant qualification in Building Surveying (e.g. HNC/HND, Degree in Building Surveying or equivalent).
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Must have a valid Skilled CSCS card.
- Experience working within social housing is highly desirable.
- Successful candidates must have the following certificates: Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, Working at Heights and Abrasive Wheels.
