We’re looking for an experienced Press Setter with hands‑on knowledge of Salvagnini machinery to join our manufacturing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in precision engineering, enjoys problem‑solving, and wants to work in a fast‑paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and adjust Salvagnini press and bending equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and job sheets
- Carry out machine checks, tooling changes, and quality inspections
- Monitor production output to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Identify and resolve machine or tooling issues to minimise downtime
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area
- Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience as a Press Setter within a manufacturing or sheet‑metal environment
- Strong working knowledge of Salvagnini systems (e.g., P4, S4, B3, or similar)
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring equipment
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills
