Our client is looking for an experienced Gas Repairs Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UKs leading renewable energy suppliers.
Job description:
- Carry out reactive maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Diagnose and repair faults on domestic gas appliances including boilers, fires, and cookers.
- Install or repair heating system pipe work.
- Advising customers on gas safety and energy efficiency.
- Undertake works in accordance with current Gas Safety Regulations and manufacturers guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain records of completed work using a company tablet.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.
Person specification:
- Must have ACS Gas Qualifications.
- Full UK driving license.
- Must have the right to work in the UK with supporting documents.
- Must have a very high standard of work and be able to think for themselves.
- Must have a good attitude and be comfortable dealing with customers.
- Electrical knowledge essential, including wiring and fault finding on S-plan, Y-plan and combination systems and boilers.
- Be flexible, responsive and proactive towards workloads.
- Repairs experience is essential.
