We have an exciting opportunity for a Geospatial Engineer to join a well established company based in the North East.

Job Description:

  • Overseeing geospatial activities to ensure full compliance with project and site requirements.
  • Prepare, manage, and maintain spatial databases.
  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Support continuous improvement by helping to design and implement automation scripts, templates, and scalable geospatial processes.
  • Provide geospatial surveying support, including establishing and supplying precise setting-out data.
  • Establish, verify, and maintain survey control networks, issuing updates and reports as necessary.

Skills and experience:

  • Experience in delivery of Geospatial Engineering within the construction industry.
  • Technical qualifications in construction related subject or trade recognised qualifications which could include HND, City & Guilds, etc.
  • Proficiency in Python is required.
  • Knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Java, SQL) is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of working with multiple EO (Earth Observation) data sources.
  • A good practical understanding of Health & Safety requirements.
  • A good understanding of all facets of the construction process.
