Zenith People are working with our client who are looking to recruit an Engineering Draughtsperson on a permanent basis
Reporting directly into the Engineering Manager, the main purpose of the role will be to prepare manufacturing and customer submission drawings using CAD systems.
Main ResponsibilitiesPrepare drawings from specification/engineering sketches via Solid works or AutoCAD software.
Revises existing drawings.
Performs mathematical calculations
Prepare engineering change orders
Prepares CNC programme data via Radan software.
Prepare and/or revise engineering BOM/RPO via Navision software.
Adheres to Company policy for Quality Assured service standards
Adheres to company policy for Health & Safety standards
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested
Skills/Competencies:
IT Literate - Confident user in Microsoft Office
Highly competent in the use of both AutoCAD and Solidworks preferred
CNC programming with Radan experience preferred.
Good attention to detail and able to work as part of a team and on their own.
Qualifications/Experience:
Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering Degree (HNC/HND) preferred
Solidworks Qualification preferred
