Are you a skilled Design Draughtsperson ready to take your career to the next level? Our client—a design and manufacturing business is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. This is your chance to work on multi-million-pound projects that shape skylines and redefine architectural excellence. What You’ll Be Doing As a key player in the design team, you’ll bring concepts to life and collaborate across disciplines to deliver stunning, functional solutions. Your day-to-day will include: * Creating high-quality, detailed arrangement drawings for client approval * Collaborating with architects, consultants, and third parties to develop designs * Using your expertise in 2D AutoCAD to drive precision and innovation * Navigating Navisworks Manage (2020)—a plus, but not a dealbreaker * Attending design and progress meetings both on-site and virtually (Teams/Zoom) * Participating in internal handover, progress, and contract review sessions * Coordinating with production, procurement, and site-based teams * Ensuring seamless integration of design elements across all project stakeholders * Managing RFIs, variations, and technical documentation with confidence * Communicating structural details from our in-house Structural Engineer * Tracking and reporting progress against contract timelines * Handling project-specific admin and technical submissions * Collaborating with fellow draughtspersons on high-profile, large-scale projects What We’re Looking For You’re not just experienced—you’re passionate about design, detail-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
